So after a bit of poking & prodding from you guys in this post, I decided to go ahead with my it's-slightly-a-splurge purchase and I am SO happy with it!!
It's a strapless silk chiffon dress from D&G's spring 2008 collection. I tried to track this down when I was in Las Vegas that spring, but the SA at the D&G store was snotty and completely unhelpful. But now I have it anyway!!
I was going to toss a blazer on over this and wear somewhat casually, but it's really long. Like, insanely long. So unless I get it altered, that's out. However, I do think this will turn into the dress that I wear when B. and I eventually decide to get married :)
It is gorgeous - and would make a perfect wedding dress! You look wonderful in it!
