Thanks . JCrew + The . Weekend

Today I went on a mini shopping trip, as Ann Taylor Loft was having a 40% off sale items sale, and there was a skirt I was hoping to pick up. They didn't have any of my size left, but luckily JCrew is right next door. Not that I needed to spend any money there, but ever since I saw Before Sunset I've desperately wanted a top like Julie Delpy's.



It was just so lovely and chic! I've never found anything that's looked quite like hers... until stopping to JCrew today:




You can just throw on this with a pair of jeans, and it's already a perfectly wonderful outfit!

We don't really have any plans over the weekend, other than to perhaps get some yard work done, and I think we're going out for Ethiopian tonight (yum!). What does everyone else have planned? Whatever it is, I hope it goes swimmingly!

    JCrew had some cute things that were on sale, but they're never on sale for very much. I wish they would do stuff like Ann Taylor and Banana Republic - take an extra % off the sale price.

    I think J. Crew will have at least an additional 30% sale of already marked down items. I was in there yesterday myself and they had a ton of stock on sale, but it was like you said- not marked down enough. They're always slow to move their older stuff. I think it will happen eventually....

    Tonight my husband is making chicken biryani from scratch. He ground his own masala for it from like 15 different spices!
