The . Anchor . and . the . Bird

I love when people drop little comments here because it's a great way of finding new blogs that I might not have otherwise run across. Such was the case when Carolynn from The Anchor and the Bird left a little trail of crumbs for me to follow this morning. And I have to say, what I found on her blog is the biggest - and perhaps loveliest - surprise that I've come across in quite some time.

Carolynn is nearly through her self-imposed 31 Days of Good Deeds and it's kind of incredible. She's done everything from paying for someone else's dinner - just because!! - to leaving lovely little notes all about the city.

What I love best about the things that she's done is that it shows that something very small and effortless can really brighten someone's day. Wouldn't it be wonderful if tons and tons of people could do this?

Like . A . Fairytale

This is not what I had intended on posting today, but this morning B. showed me the site for the place where we'll be staying when we go to Prague and I just about died. The very girly part of me is still squealing (on the inside, of course) with joy. I've stayed in some lovely hotels before, but nothing that's ever resembled a tiny little palace. Swoon.

B.'s reaction: "It's everything a girl could ever want. It makes me want to vomit a little."

Shop . Update { Accessories Preview }

I was hoping to get a bunch of new dresses photographed today also, but as I'm trying to work through the horrible sneezing and itching - my allergies are just killing me! - I made it through the bags and scarves, and then had to call it quits.

All of these pretty little accessories - including the leather bag with the embossed detail of a girl riding a bike! - will be in the shop over the next couple of days!

Kill . Darling

Kill Darling has a new collection filled with floaty summer frocks and a lookbook video reminiscent of Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. Love it.
