All of these spaces have amazing detail and manage to look quite lush even with spare furnishings, but I love the dining room with the floor-to-ceiling window and single bookcase. There's something about the way that the sleek interior is juxtaposed with the messiness of the outdoors that's appealing.

So, It's Kind of Fall, but Really Warm

September weather can sometimes be a touch tricky. For instance, today is the last day of summer, but it's 75 degrees, so not feeling so much like it. This skirt may have a springy pattern, but it's still in dark colors, and it's probably my favorite skirt, so I'm wearing it regardless of the time of year.

I just picked up the cardigan for $9.99 at UO, and it's ridiculously soft - I kind of want to live in it, but people start to talk if you wear the same thing every day. Like my World Civ professor in college; he was great, but he only had two outfits: navy pants + white shirt + burgundy cardigan and navy pants + white shirt + navy cardigan. And, well, that's difficult not to notice.

I'm positively smitten with this scarf worn by Glamour editor Maria Duenas, but have no idea where it's from - does anyone recognize it? The colors are just so pretty!
