One of my favorite things about teaching at university in the spring is the way that the campus looks when everything finally blossoms. Much of the older portion of campus (my office included - hooray!) runs along the Red Cedar River. Accompanying this are a plethora of vibrant flowering trees and bushes that I could stare at for hours:
P.S. - Does anyone know what kind of flowering bush the red/peach is?
Those lovely reddish/coral colored flowers look like something in the apple family---crabapple or something like that (so says my mom, who is a botany professor and just happens to be sitting right next to me!)

MSU?? That's where I went to undergrad...and yes, the campus is delightful in spring!
^^ Yes, MSU! It really is a pretty place to walk around!
This campus is so pretty...I wouldn't mind school going to classes as much if I had this eye candy all around!
Stunning imagery...how could you get anything done?? I would be staring out the window all the time.
Stunning! If you're asking about the shrub in the second to last photo, it's a flowering quince. I have one in my yard. It's gorgeous but so thorny!
