While all of the photos on design blog Decor8 are positively lovely, as I was browsing tonight, I kept coming back to this bathroom:



I'm in love with the combination of the rubbed/worn furniture and vintage chandelier with the clean white of the walls and floors. It seems to me the perfect way to blend old and new.

Tired . but . Hopeful

I'm so happy that it's Friday! My seminar (on Writing & Rhetoric) was terribly interesting and I have loads of great things to think about, but I'm very.very tired. It has been a long and exhausting week. So I'm very much looking forward to a slow-paced, and hopefully refreshing weekend.



Perhaps this collage of pictures that I've saved from Domino will inspire some of you to have a relaxing weekend as well!!

Miss . Moss

One of my favorite recently discovered blogs is Alice in Wardrobe Wonderland. Each day she adds to a collection of stunning fashion photography and I'm as transfixed as a girl sitting amidst a pile of newly minted magazines.

I keep going back to her new three-part post, The Top 25 Looks of Kate Moss. As Miss Moss always looks fabulous, picking 25 of her best is daunting, though Alice certainly manages to completely nail what makes Kate, well, Kate:

Apologies for the lack of posting this week -- I'm in a seminar from 8am - 5pm every day through Friday!! I'll try to sneak some posts in here and there though!!
