... by which I not only mean the massive blizzard that we just had, but also my birthday. I'm not the hugest fan of birthdays, and so yesterday was just about the right amount of non-celebratory celebrating; i.e., B. and I had leftover Thai Food + he got me bright pink tulips + chocolate strawberry cake!
My parents also gifted me with an armful of vibrant bouquets, so now our dining room is as colorful as if it were spring!!

Thank you!! The cake has been delicious - it's two layers of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting + more strawberries in the middle :)
