All . Caps

Technically speaking, I probably should just stop looking at shoes altogether. If I don't look, I won't covet quite so much. But since that's probably not going to happen, I'll just post when I find especially good shoes, and you all can covet with me!

These remind me of Tinker Toys, but for your feet. I think I like the nude/peachy version best, as you're drawn to the crazy wooden heel rather than the straps.

Late . Afternoon . Reveal

And so the semester ends, and summer begins with...

... a new pair of shoes! Just what my closet was lacking. He he.

I first saw these on Fashiontoast, and thought, "Oh my god! Bright blue crushed velvet wedges! Must. Have."

So then I wandered over to Theory and immediately discovered that they were out of my size. Boo. I sent a hopeful tweet to them to ask whether a restocking was in store, and they responded crazy fast with a "We'll check into it for you," and shortly thereafter, a resounding, "Yes!"

And then today they arrived.

Phew. Shoe catastrophe narrowly avoided.

So as much as I love these gorgy Chloe boots, I've had them for awhile now and never worn them. I'm offering them up for sale, and hopefully they'll go to someone who will wear them & love them! These are also listed elsewhere, but I wanted to give my blog readers a chance also!

Mid-Week . Outfit . Post

Jeans, Tee, and Scarf: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell "Camp"
Ring and Earrings: Forever21
Nail Polish: Chanel "Vamp"

Today is one of those days where it's not exactly warm, but it's not really chilly either, so a cardigan-tee-lightweight scarf combo is kind of perfect. The weather also makes me indecisive though: it's not quite nice enough to do yard work, and it's too gloomy to get anything done inside. Yes, I did just blame my laziness on the weather.

In other news, did anyone watch The Rachel Zoe Project last night? 1. Johny Weir has a tree of Balenciaga bags in his closet. 2. I love Johny Weir. 3. Why don't I have a job where I work in studio with racks of gorgeous clothes, Brad, and Johny Weir?

In other, other news, these leopard shoes are going back. After a week of trying, I just can't find anything that I like them with. But fear not, those dollars are safely allocated to something else leopard-y. Want a hint?

Friday . Black

T-Shirt: Urban Outfitters Men's Ouija Tee
Skirt: Simply Vera Wang
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell "Dipper"
Ring: Erin Wasson Low Luv
Nails: Chanel Noir Ceramic

Today was kind of a lazy fashion day - black skirt and black tee = easy to match. I know it's not very fancy, but it's comfortable and probably a step up from pajamas.

I also got these shiny new Jeffrey Campbell Pixie Fur Wedge Booties in Leopard. In theory, I love them, but in reality, I'm torn. What do you think - keepers? Oui or No?

Yes . I . Would . Like . to...

...have a few thousand dollars to buy shoes for fall. I'm particularly fond of the Acne "Atacoma" wedge, that's been re-released for this fall. I didn't really like this shoe when it first came out - it seemed heavy, and difficult to wear. But, as always seems to happen, I've come around and now kind of love it.

Of course, there are also about a zillion other pairs of shoes - mostly wedges, for some reason - that I'm lusting after. Le sigh... maybe I'll save up and treat myself to one or two new pairs.
