This morning I came across a brand of clothing that I'm completely enamored with. Not only because the garments are pretty, but because I could wear only this designer for the rest of my life and be utterly happy. While you'd need to fill in with a few pairs of pants and a sweater or two, everything else is there: gorgeous flowing dresses, sweet tunics, pretty camisoles, and so on, and so on....
Tucker by Gaby Basora is a stunningly beautiful line, yet versatile and practical enough to sustain you throughout the year. These are classic pieces and shapes that will absolutely never go out of style:

Holiday . Beauty
Even if you stick to the same makeup routine throughout most of the year, the holidays are a great time to get out of that rut and try a little something new: Either a nude look with shimmery bronzer, iridescent shadow, and jet black mascara, or ruby lips, rosy cheeks, and a smidge of silver shadow!
Quick tip: For a hint of extra eye drama like Jennifer's, place just a few fake lashes on the bottom too!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

Surface . 2 . Air . Paris
The website for Surface 2 Air Paris feels a bit like a French version of American Apparel. Except it seems classier. It's a bit more chic. And oh, yeah, none of those weird porn-like shots that AA has.
Even . Cleveland
I love how tiny little happy accidents happen! This morning as I was looking for something lovely to share for the holiday, I stumbled upon (via A Cup of Jo) a cute little blog, Even Cleveland. Since I'm headed to Cleveland just this afternoon, it seemed like kismet!
This lovely blog also has the cutest holiday post: making a pretty little holiday village out of entirely recycled materials!!
Want your own cute little houses? No worries - you can pick up a set of four on ETSY - Even Cleveland

Dreamhouse
Dreamhouse is possibly my newest favorite web obsession. The design blog isn't written in English, so I can't understand a lick of what it says. But in some ways the author speaks a design/style language I'm very familiar with: pretty. Dreamhouse has pretty pictures of all sorts of homes, accessories, desserts, and so much more.
I'm also quite fond of the aesthetic that comes through in so many of the images: clean and cozy. The white color schemes never feel cold or sterile, but always very warm and comfortable:

Tag . You're . It!
I've been tagged by the fabulous Kate from Look Book to disclose six unimportant things that make me happy. Here goes:
(1) Those silly "cute animal" videos that have run amok online. All of them. Especially this one:
(2) Tulips.
(3) Bravo reality television shows. Project Runway, Top Chef, The Rachel Zoe Project...just oodles of wasted, but bliss-filled time.
(4) Bag shopping. I want this one and this one and this one (in red) and...
(5) Board games. Despite what I used to believe (though it still seems incredulous), not everyone likes playing board games. It was an honest-to-goodness revelation to me that not everyone grew up playing board games with their families. When I was little, my parents and aunt & uncle would play Trivial Pursuit - I used to dream about the day when I would be old enough and smart enough to play!
(6) Chanel. It's difficult to add this to an "unimportant" list, as Chanel is certainly not unimportant. But pretty much anything Chanel makes me insanely happy (except for those ridiculous ankle bags that came out last spring).
The Chanel at the very top of my "makes me happy wishlist" would have to be: A Chanel Jumbo Caviar Flap Bag in Black with silver hardware!!
As per the rules, I've tagged five of my favorite blogs:
Fashion for Writers
Inside a Black Apple
Project Eco Art
Sweet Cream
Sweet Figments

Designer . Gift . Guide . Part . 1: Under . $300
There likely aren't many girls out there who wouldn't be over-the-moon about getting designer goodies at Christmas. Yet certainly not everyone would thrilled about giving designer items because of the often high price tags. So today's gift guide is filled with little designer items that won't break the bank (not quite anyway):

Pretty . Little . Gifts
While my Christmas List keeps growing (and getting more costly by the day) the holidays are also an excellent time to remember that a lot of people need things much more basic than expensive accessories.
The Hunger Site partnered with Mercy Corps make it easy and really affordable for everyone to help out. By going to The Hunger Site Store: Gifts That Give More, you can do loads of good for as little as $20!!
(1) Send Two Girls in Afghanistan to School - $20.00
(2)Protect Five Children in Burma with Immunizations - $10.00
(3) School Uniforms for Girls in Rural Africa - $25.00
If everyone who reads this blog gave one such gift, think how many people that would help! And don't forget to pass this on - it's a cliché, but one person can make a huge difference.
Help to make a Pretty Little World for everyone!
