Holiday

We're officially at the end of our vacation now, and while it's been nothing but lovely, I am a pinch glad to be back to our house, kitties, and regular programming :)

We went to visit B.'s sisters/family in the Catskills this past week - while the temperatures were ridiculously hot, we were busy enough not to notice it too terribly much.

We spent most of the time shuttling back and forth between his sisters' houses (they live in the same tiny little town), his sister's shop, Plunk, and had dinner at the most amazing restaurant, The Lazy Beagle. All of their food is locally sourced and so good - B. had fresh trout that had been caught that day! We even went back for brunch and had french toast made with locally baked bread and locally harvested maple syrup.

B. was crazy nice and drove me down to the Premium Outlets at Woodbury Commons (they have a Chanel outlet!!), and while there was lots of stuff to look at, I didn't find anything to come home with... though I did get to try on a Marchesa dress that I'd blogged about ages ago.

The rest of our time was filled with barbecues, hiking, lots of wine, music, and meeting new people.

I hope everyone else has had a wonderful week, and I'll be back to regular posting tomorrow!!
