Cardigan: Urban Outfitters
Skirt and Blouse: Ann Taylor Loft
Shoes: Celine
September weather can sometimes be a touch tricky. For instance, today is the last day of summer, but it's 75 degrees, so not feeling so much like it. This skirt may have a springy pattern, but it's still in dark colors, and it's probably my favorite skirt, so I'm wearing it regardless of the time of year.
I just picked up the cardigan for $9.99 at UO, and it's ridiculously soft - I kind of want to live in it, but people start to talk if you wear the same thing every day. Like my World Civ professor in college; he was great, but he only had two outfits: navy pants + white shirt + burgundy cardigan and navy pants + white shirt + navy cardigan. And, well, that's difficult not to notice.

i love your skirt! and your wedges! i think you look fab!
this in-between weather sure is tricky to dress for. it is 70-80 here, and i am TRYING to wear fall colors plus sandals. it is weird. the light is still bright and semi-summary, but you can feel change in the air. the weather will change sooner or later here, but probably not until november. weird. but not bad!
Aw, super cute outfit! Love the skirt and the mix of the print w/ the striped cardigan.
It was 90 here today! Its going to be cool tomorrow and then hot again Fri. I hate New England.
What a fun skirt! It has a great vintgey vibe to it.
girl i love the combination~ what a cute mix! I esp love those amazing shoes!!
haha! I have some professors like that. It's so hilarious! Amen about the weather. It's been 95-97 the last few days, which is NOT OK.
That's a GREAT sweater find for 9.99! I'm pretty jealous.
There's a story (which isn't true, sadly) that Einstein had 7 identical suits and he'd just wear a different one each day...that way, he was always wearing clean clothes, but he never had to think about whether anything matched or went together. Maybe your professor heard that story and did the same thing, but with 2 outfits instead of one! And you could just tell people that's what you're doing with your sweater. "Einstein did it, and he was a genius!" is a great response to the naysayers, lol.
^^I love that! I may have to use that an excuse for anything from now on: "You didn't take out the trash today." "Well, Einstein didn't do that kind of thing either."
