While seeing such a gorgeous home is inspiring, it's also frustrating. I don't have the budget to just remodel everything all at once (which is probably the position that most homeowners are in). So the question for all of you readers becomes: how can you can create a cohesive design scheme when you have to buy and renovate rooms a little at a time?

I like the new blog layout!
I think purchasing items in similar colors for each room helps to create a cohesive design scheme. Some colors I carry throughout my apartment include turquoise and red.
Yes, it's really good to be reading in the middle of the page... ;)
Love that home make-over... The style is in fact stunning!
YOur blog layout looks fabulous and the house is super dreamy ;)
This is my dream house! love it!
I just discovered your blog and it's already one of my faves!!
Loving the new layout. That house is gorgeously gorgeous.
omg... LOVing this home as well. And I have no clue how to accomplish a re-do a little at a time. I will be watching the comments here for tips. (I like BrianneLee's tip of carrying a unifying color throughout...)
By the way - loving the 3 column layout. I've been wanting to do that for awhile - but haven't been able to figure it out. It looks GREAT!!
